I don't mean worst player but am struggling to think of someone we had such high hopes for who has failed to meet expectations. Perhaps we should have gone for Rowan Vine instead?

[no offence to Romford Blue intended]

Stan the Man.After all he was only with us for a few months. :net:

Eastwood should never have left, he had a free role here but I would guess his agent was telling him how great he would be at a more high profile club, in other words he fed his ego for profit as happens with all agents, there have been a lot of players who have suffered because of this.
Stan had a self destruct button too and for me was probably a bigger disappointment as he never acheived the greatness his skill deserved, also his loyalty for our club was good ie: Forest trying to do us out of a goals bonus when they had got promoted... Top marks for that Stan:)

Freddy did exactly what he should have done, try to better himself.

Financially he made 5 times what he would have here. Theres nothing wrong with a lower league player trying to make more money.

From a football sense he joined two clubs much bigger than us, it wouldnt be normal for a player not to want to better themselves.

He actually gave us a few good seasons and could have left earlier, look at how Crawley have been affected by their two strikers leaving midseason. (cue the Eastwood didnt play after Man Utd game, although he still scored goals after that in a terrible side)
