Ipswich friendly

Yes !!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Ronny Martin,

This is the fixture the fans wanted. How many times in our lives are we going to get the chance to see such footballing greats as Richard Wright, Jamie Peters and Pablo Counago.
Assume season ticket holders will be getting priorty for this clash. Anyone know if we can get tickets for mates too? I have already have five texts from mates looking for tickets. Its like the Man United/Chelsea games all over again.

Good friendly to have. would have suggested Norwich aswell but as they're in the same division now wouldn't be much point.

A good friendly, nowt wrong with that.

I'm more looking forward to the youth tournament with Everton, Arsenal and Fulham, I believe it is.

Its a good chance for Tilly to get Roy Keane in his office to chat about letting us have Dan Harding on the cheap!!

I'm not sure that put Roy Keane in a small room and trying to get one of his players cheap is a good idea ;)

The friendly has been agreed because it is part of a deal in signing someone from Ipswich. I don't really know that but I can hope.

Keano at Roots Hall eh? Excellent. Does anybody know if he ever graced the turf there during his playing career? If so it was probably with Forest.

Same for me, i'm looking forward to seeing the youngsters and superstars of the future strut there stuff, will be a good, know where i can get tickets? Or when it as i can't remember. Cheers.

Should be a good night, he wasn't at Sunderland as manager when we played them down here, not sure about ever as a player. It's certainly better in my book than having those East London Spammers down.

Quite happy with this. Ipswich will be a very different team come July with Roy Keane looking at bringing in some new players, plus they like to get the ball on the deck and knock it about. Should be a good footballing game.

Also, looking forward to hurling abuse at Roy Keane from East Reds.

Bet you wouldn't be so "brave" on a one to one basis if there was any chance Keane would be able to respond in any way to your what I am sure will be, highly sopisticated "taunts" backed up on the night by your equally "as hard" mates I am sure.

:D

Whats wrong with a bit of banter from the stands to the opposing manager? Plently of opposing managers have responded to this like Allen, and plenty have ignored it. Its one of the reasons I love sitting where I do because watching the opposing manager can be just as fun as the game, well it certainly was against Cheltenham.

Its all good hearted fun. Stuff like "What have you ever won?", "Hows Mick McCarthy" and "Well done in the World Cup with Ireland" stuff like that. He can take the bait or he can leave it, simple as.

Irish bottler!

Face to face? Bring it on:punch:

I'd tell him he's still stuck well up his own a***.

'Town have already confirmed that they will be playing Brentford at Griffin Park the week before as they continue their close relationship with the League Two champions.

Ipswich are also scheduled to entertain Colchester United on Saturday July 25 as part of Fabian Wilnis' testimonial.

The three games will consolidate links being established between the clubs.

Dan Harding, who is still to officially to learn his fate with Ipswich Town following his loan spell with Reading, was with Southend earlier this season and is tipped to return if freed by Keane.'

They can't think much of Fabian Wilnis to give him a testimonial game against the inbreds.
