How is it different direction? Have they gone a bit experimental? Ive got the 1st and 2nd albums myself (the 1st one is class, the 2nd is growing on me)and was also thinking of buying the latest one.

Less heavy & less Joy Division-esque.
Also different as this is the first album they have written using guitars (think Carlos always used to write the music on keyboards prior to this one).

The singles so far haven't really got much wide-spread airplay, even on the alternative shows on MTV2 & R1 (seeing as Zane is a total **** who thinks it's funny to treat them with contempt, whilst kissing the ar5e of sh*te like My Chemical Romance & Socuting For Girls)!

I'm not promoting illegal copying of music in this post, I see it more as a marketing tool because if you like an album on the basis of a few listens of a copy you'll go out and get it (call it the In Rainbows theory as I'll certainly be buying the full-price CD on Dec31 despite having downloaded it for zilch)

If anybody's a miser & can wait until Dec29 & is going to Donny, I can maybe sort them out with aformentioned marketing tool! Drop me a PM!
