Blue tinted optimist⭐🦐
Does anyone know what happened at the end of the match in the East Blacks? Some people were leaving early and all of a sudden a chap was shouting to a Steward to get first aid as there was a head injury. I must admit I was unimpressed at the lack of urgency shown by either the Steward or St John's Ambulance. The steps were closed off while it was dealt with and everyone had to make their way along the pitch.

I hope the person concerned is ok.

I sit in the back row close to the exit but didn't see the incident. I must agree that the response did seem particularly slow/poor. I hope the fella is ok...it's a shame that some people were more worried about not getting to their car quickly enough to miss the traffic!

I thought the worst thing was when the guy shouted out that it was a head injury the steward that was ambling up the steps looked like he has to pause for breath! I hope for all our sakes there's never a major incident at the ground as I wouldn't fancy our chances of rescue.

I didn't see the accident but certanly heard it. Poor lady had fallen down the stairs unconscious at the bottom.

Shouted for a steward and for first aid. stated taping my head to show how serious it was. The response time was diabolical and they didn't seem to have any urgency. hopefully she will be ok and the club learn from this.

I was sitting down below the incident and to be fair all I could hear were the words East Stand I thought at the time. The stewards down below would have struggled to hear much else.
I hope the lady is fine. One particular grumpy supporter had a right go at the steward for not letting him out the lower gate at the final whistle and stormed off mumbling obscenities to himself.

"Club officials will meet with police and FA officials this week to finalise arrangements, but it has already been arranged for Southend United’s stewarding team to oversee things on the night.

For any further enquiries you can contact the Concord Rangers FC
"

Should be okay; no stair wells at Concord.
