Fans ripped the car doors off. I hope the driver got a battering. Just total disbelief someone would do that.... many injured.

100% that's deliberate, very clear in the videos gone viral. Ploughed through at least 6 people.

My nephew and great nephew were actually in the place where the car hit and had moved away literally 5 seconds before it ploughed in. My nephew said it was the most scary thing (and he is a big bloke) he has ever witnessed

Absolutely shocking. I know that street well. Been there a few times. I'm glad they're OK.

My son’s flatmate was up there today and ‘saw all of what happened’. Thankfully he’s ok but let’s hope those injured make a full and quick recovery.

53 year old male arrested according the sky news

A lot of witnesses saying the driver wasn't 53, much younger, and that when reports saying a 53 year old man was arrested, it didn't say that was the driver. Something isn't right here. Who knows what to believe anymore.

Believe it or not, the latest reports are that it may not have been a planned attack, but more road rage/anger. Apparently, the driver tried to stupidly make his way through the crowd. Some Liverpool fans responded by banging on and kicking and bashing his car, and he reversed into some that were doing it, as sort of a warning, but then lost the plot and drove into some fans. Whether he has mental issues, we shall see.
