....Norwich accept West Ham's £7m bid for Dean Ashton then expect a bid for Freddy. I'd be surprised if Eastwood does go there but they'll definitely make a bid, Worthington sees him or Trundle as first choices to replace Ashton if he goes and Trundle's off to Everton next week......

Is this £1.25m Trundle move paper talk then as I can't find anything about it online?

So current market price for Eastwood then must be in the region of £1m judging on the Macleod & Trundle deals?

It is inevitable that Freddy will leave Southend one day in the future, however it will not be in this window.

Trundle is a massive influence at Swansea as their poor(ish) form while he has been injured would indicate. It is possible that his sale may cause them to stall, here's shoping at least.

Funny that current transfer market valuations rate Dean Ashton as 7 times more expensive than Freddy. I reckon 1 season with a top drawer Championship side and Freddy would prove himself to be every bit as good as Ashton. I really hope he gets to have a crack at the Championship with us before heading off to pastures new.

Mark my word ..... Southend will never sell Freddy while they are doing well at the moment. If Vic Jobson was still as Chairman, I would fear the worst as he is hanking around every club to see if they got 1million in their pocket so he can make some profits for himself without handing Tilson half of £1million to replace Freddy.

Its take an idiot at this club to sell him at this time of the month, anyone who want him, must wait till end of the season, maybe at end of May if we play at Wembley for the play-off final

I Heard the sale of Marcus Bent to Charlton was to fund Evertons move for Trundle, as they seem him as a short term replacement for Ferguson who could play alongside Beattie.

Moyes' assistant has apparently admitted that if Ferguson goes (as well as Bent who has gone) Lee Trundle will be their main target. Anelka doesn't want to join Everton, he's already stated as much and Everton had scouts at every one of Trundle's games for 3 months before his injury. Their minds are pretty much made up and they will bid £1.25m next week, Lee will dig his heels in and demand the move given that he is a boyhood Toffees fan.

Swansea need the money more than they're letting on... I heard they need to be assured of Championship football within 2 seasons to cover the costs of there High wages, high transfer budget and high maintenance costs otherwise they'll face similar financial problems to before...

Yes a million pounds would be nice but there a couple of issues to consider.
Firstly Freddy Don't Want to go, and secondly, after the initial outlay for him, a 40% sell on clause from Grays makes the deal a tad less lucrative.

What is it with you AD. You are infatuated with Freddy and possible transfer bids from other clubs!

I will be the next streaker at Roots Hall if Freddy leaves in this transfer window.

Freddy and his family have said he is going nowhere at present. I still see that as the case.

We won't accept any bids for Freddy this month, so I'm guaranteed.

And no there is no 40% sell on clause.
