If We Can Beat Burnley On Tuesday...........

................QPR will have to win at Derby to stop us from getting out of the bottom 3.

Although this game is technically a six pointer, Burnley's goal difference means they are effectively an extra point clear of the bottom 6 , with games in hand .They are still some way ahead .

Lets hope Leeds' mini-revival is over - would be nice to see some daylight before next Sat.

Apologies if I am stating the bl**ding obvious , but there it is !

On the contrary Leeds revival at the expense of clubs just above us is more than welcomed. Our destiny is in our own hands but other results going in our favour help too. 4 points from the next two games will do nicely.

Yeah I said to my mate in the car on the way up that if we won I probably wanted Leeds to as well coz it would push Luton further into it. Saying that I wish theyd scored their pen!

Something tells me (from doing that BBC predictor thingy a couple of weeks back) Leeds will get out of trouble as we hopefully will. It's Luton & QPR who really need to worry about their from as I can see them going down as I also can with Barnsley now their mini-revival is over!

What we need to worry about is Burnley's lack of a win in 16 games or whatever it is now. All the omens today pointed to a Southend win, let's not fall in that trap & gift Burnley a soft 3 points on Tuesday night now!

We can realistically win these next two games. Both teams are struggling and we are at home. What a boost it will give to the team if we can do that.

Absolutely, the 3 points today has given everyone a lift. I cant wait for the next two games and see where we are after that.

I thought the players' attitude at Ipswich was first-class.

I'm looking forward to all the W block "hardies" giving it large to Leeds next Saturday. It's hard enough to get out at HT for a ciggie. How are they going to run in a mass panic ?

Leeds will get out of this i feel, Cresswell is a massive player for them and now he's fit again and scoring i just feel there'll be better than Barnsley, Luton and QPR by the end of the season.

I feel it could finish

Southend
Leeds
QPR
Luton
Barnsley

In terms of positions.
