If i have the name of a boat how do i go about finding it.

when i was a kid my grandad lived on a boat and i would love to trace it to see if the present owners could give me some pictures.

Any help would be appreciated as im going nowhere fast.

Lloyds register of shipping may do it, try googling the name you may be surprised

This site may help you mate. But I'd it's more likely to carry the names of cargo and passenger vessels. It depends largely on the type of boat your grandad lived on.
