Hartlepool have released Ian Moore age 31 striker who it seems cant
settle in the North East

Another name in the hat its just awaiting game to see who comes in or not

A good player, but not a goalscorer. I think he scored Leeds first goal against us a Elland Road in the League, last season.

I think his league record is about a goal every 4+ games. A quality player, but not what we need.

I heard at the start of the season that he went there on £ 4000 a week so I doubt that he'll be wanting to talk to us

He can't settle in the north-east because his family is in Warrington - can't see Southend being an attractive option for him either!

Stefan Moore, a striker just released by QPR (former England under-19 and brother of Luke) is more likely methinks.

Didn't a certain Mr Collymore have a similar league record before he signed for Southend?

I'd say Stefan Moore would fare rather well at L1 level.
