Played at cliffs last night, fecking brilliant they where and to think the first time i saw them was at the lyceum ballroom leicester square in 1980....feel very old today!

And no, I didnt ask him, you no what!

Fantastic night.

Great to see Mike Lindup back.

The harmonies were crap when Lyndon Connah was on keyboards during the last two tours.

My admiration for Tilly has all to do with seeing him go level 4 to 2, not hearing him go to level 42.

Yeh, your right about the accoustics and we had crap seats, seen them about 6 times over the years and that as got to go down as the worse for sound. but still they are a great band preety timeless for us who are edging past the big 40!

Front Row Balcony for me.

Didn't mention the acoustics, although they have never been too good at the Cliffs.
I was refering to the Harmonies being better since Mike Lindup returned.

First time for me was 1982 at the Cliffs (True Colours Tour), seen them every time they have played at the Cliffs since then and also at Hammersmith, Wembley & Ipswich.

The nearest i got to level 42 was up and down the cliffs stairs for half the bloody night!!!!

What tracks did they play off the new album Retroglide, I shall be seeing them in Nottingham in a few weeks.....Its not been the same without Mike....Was Husbands on drums?

They played Dive into the Sun (which I think is the best track on Retroglide), Rooted and Retroglide. They also played Sleep Talking during the encore which was unsheduled as Mike Lindup's synth packed up for a while so couldn't do the Chinese Way at that time (but they did finish with that).

King, Lindup & Husbands were all in the line up along with Nathan King (Guitar) & Sean Freeman (Sax). Also had some bloke on percussion.

He fits all the criteria. I bet he wears slip ons with white socks when relaxing
