I-pod techy question

BILLERICAY BLUE

A friend of mine PC has crashed and she has lost all of the music she had in her i-tunes although it is obviously still on her i-pod. She has re-installed i-tunes and added some albums to it, but when she trys to sync the two of them it says that the i-pod can only be linked to one i-tunes and that if she syncs them she will lose the tracks on her i-pod. Is there a way around this ??

Thanks in advance guys

Yes, search back through the Pub threads on iPod issues.
You can download software like Music Rescue (& as suggested on one of those threads, maybe the best possible long-term solution is to run iTunes via a separate external hard-drive!)

Dont upgrade to the latest ITunes version 7.3 - I updated last night and it crashed my pc a number of times - even after uninstalling & reinstalling it. Apparently, this latest version (released last Friday to coincide with the iPhone launch) has known bugs, problems with it.
