I dream of Southend

I have a lot of SUFC related dreams - during the season it's not unusual for me to have 2 Southend dreams a week. Usually I'm just watching but a couple of times I have actually dreamt I'm playing (once as a trialist when they held a sort of open day where anyone could go along and play 20 minutes in their chosen position, and once in the first team). When I dream of watching a game, the recurring theme is that I can't see the game. This ranges from being seated so far at the back of the South Upper that the roof completely obscures my view, to the utterly ridiculous one I had when my seat was down a corridor behind a stand and I could only see about a yard of the pitch! I had my first Southend dream of the close season last night - it was our first game of the season but we were playing Wet Spam at Upton Park (and a heavily redeveloped "Chelsea Village" style Upton Park) - we were wearing our new kit and we won 1-0 with a Maher penalty early in the first half!

Does anyone else dream of Southend a lot?

I see you are one of these fair weather types.

I dream about reserve matches, ESC games and pre-season friendlies away to non league opposition.
