Seen them 5 times now. They are the absolute dogs. They make me just as excited as watching southend win promotion. The single is number one and they have got at least five more singles at the moment which are better.

Oh I have been downloading like mad mate don't worry. My iPod has played almost nothing but The Monkeys for months....missed out on seeing them so far but next opportunity I'm there!

Saw them for the first time in about march in a pub in manchester, thats were it turned from being a fan of their music to being obsessed.

They were at Chinnerys in August and were quality there. Saw them on friday night in Liverpool for an MTV 2 Tour, they were out of this world. The crowd went mad and sang the words to every song. Easily the best gig /i have ever been to. All filmed by MTV and will be shown in November. Got interviewed by some MTV tart at the after party so keep an eye out for it.

The Monkeys are judt going to start a tour of Europe with a couple of gigs in USA and Japan. They will most probably be touring at bigger venues over here (appolos etc) in about march time to promote their album. Get tickets to see them without a doubt.
