Anyone at the game mind objectively rating (with comments) the players for the game today?

It'd be interesting to see what people felt when looking at the relative performance of individuals

You choose the scale, I'm just interested to hear what people thought of the individual players... I heard that Clarke had a reasonable game for example. It may not be true but we'll find out from the objective ratings...

clarke did the usual tackling and blocking of shots, but like sode when it comes to head up and passing the ball its a hoof bak to the other keeper

Flavs - 6 - Had little chance and saved Windass' penalty.
Francis - 3 - Shocking, no attention and no application.
Clarke - 6 - Reasonable effort given the circumstances
Sodje - 3 - Sorry, awful. Distribtution put us under pressure time and again.
Hunt - 4 - Not really his fault, he is a (poor) utility man playing out of position. Get Hammell back.
JCR - 4 - Didnt get the ball until about 60 mins in - then got subbed.
Maher - 4 - Didnt cope with up-close and personal pressure - at least tried.
Gower - 4 - Out of position and it shows
Foran - 3 - Poor, little impact
Eastwood - 3 - Didnt touch the ball in the 85 mins I bothered to stay for
Bradbury - 2 - Never given a 2! Didnt think it was possible... Was he as bad as Francis?? Hmm....

Pretty much agree - only really Flavs & Clarke could be exempt from being slatted. The 4's and 3s were probably a tad generous though

Francis 3 - got caught out far too often , distribution poor

Clarke -8 solid performance

Sodje -6 distribution poor -put us under pressure

Hunt -7 - kept it pretty tight his side and covered others well

JCR - 4 - just didn't get into it - crosses poor

Gower -5 - a few good interceptions and passes but otherwise out-witted

Maher -4 - one of his most ineffective performances I can recall

Foran - 2 - one of which is for finding the team bus -the other for putting the right kit on

Maybe a tad more realistic?! But an 8 for Flavs - he made one (great) save and kept out Windy's initial pen, but he didnt have any impact on the result to warrant an 8 (same for Clarke)!!!

Still bad across the board though which sums the day up!

It was hard to tell - he jumped with a crowd of players, I thought he let the ball slip through his hands in the air, my mate said he didnt get near the ball?...

Either way, it ended up at the back stick and Windass swept it home unchallenged.

True - I just dont think they stood out that much in a 4-0 drubbing.

You are right about the ball coming back time and again though. The first half I dont think we stayed in the Hull half for any more than 5 seconds at a time. That is asking for trouble.
