Having written off any chance of promotion after just two games and struggling to work out how to better last season's 4th spot, at last something to cheer me up.

Four defensive pops this week:

18 yo to Excellent
19 yo to Formidable
20 yo to Formidable
21 yo to Formidable and onto the transfer list to be replaced with a 17yo wing back. Was hoping for a solid/excellent - may have to put up with a solid/solid.

Another 19yo should pop to formidable next week.

Training's working out quite nicely then. Just need to work out a match winning combination now.

Two pops to formidable and two to magnificent, pretty tidy after 3 formidable pops last week. Time to say goodbye to set piece legend Giacomo Marchini:

16 goals in 3 seasons for me! Unfortunately he's hit shelf life in training terms after moving him up from inadequate.

New signing dropped 20TSI, Mr. B... so not brill, but not disastrous. Keeper down two levels to weak form was much more worrying...

Still, defence & attack are in solid/excellent form, midfield in passable form... so might be a decent game!

No pops for me... but, as a striker trainer, they are rather thin on the ground anyway.

One pop for me, form is also up this week +6/-1 and the only one whose form dropped is my reserve keeper, so I'm not really too bothered.
