I've been well and truly screwed.

Winless in the second toughest IV, and already suffering an injury crisis, I suffer a 4-2 defeat to an inferior team who I beat in pretty much every stat. To make matters worse I lose a further two players through injury. What is the point in hiring physiotherapists if I suffer FIVE injuries in 4 weeks?

My season is well and truly f***** up. Out of the cup and bottom of the league. I'll probably lose money this season. Can't see many people turning up to my next home game having lost all 3 league games, just lost to a divVI side in the cup and with the forecast for rain.

Well I've made round 5 for the first time ever, with a potentially winnable game against a fellow Div 5 team.

In the league I finished 3rd last season and I'm guessing that's where I'll finish this season too.

Can anyone tell me how I got on?

Just arrived in NY after a lovely stay in Bermuda.

ShrimperZone FC - The Mighty Stealth Boma 3 - 0

Date: 07/08/2007 at 21.00
MatchID: 140138725
Arena: Garon Park
Crowd: 37724

37724 fans braved the pouring rain at Garon Park. SZFC decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Starters: Stanley - Vangsnes, Stougaard, Dielis - Pihllius, Porsezhian, Martinsen, Aires, Armanet - Massé, Prado.

Stealth decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Lineup: Parpalã - Constantino, Vidali, Kadziewicz - Vichi, Pérez Frías, Austin, Ulrich, MacCaul - Apeler, Lungu.

2 minutes into the game, Leonardo Constantino was a hair's breadth away from giving Stealth the lead with a shot from over on the left. A prompt block by Matthew Stanley saved the home team that time. SZFC broke through on the left in the 12th minute, with Peter Vangsnes firing at an acute angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead. SZFC put in a good effort on the right, but Jotie Massé saw his volley fly wide of the mark in the 13th minute. Maxwell Vidali did not have a good day today, often losing his footing on the muddy pitch. The visitors' equaliser seemed sure to come in the 15th minute, following a one on one situation around the left hand side of the goal area, but Matthew Stanley got the best of it, blocking the shot from Duiliu Lungu. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. Stealth held the ball, with a clear 52 percent of possession.

SZFC solidified their lead at the 63 minute mark, as Jotie Massé manoeuvered the ball through the opponents central defence and finished for 2 - 0. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Stealth's Gillis MacCaul got himself booked. The score became 3 - 0 at 73 minutes into the game, when SZFC were given a penalty with which Matthew Stanley made no mistake. At this point in the game, defending their lead became the main priority for SZFC. In the game's 74th minute, SZFC's Divasapati Porsezhian fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Divasapati Porsezhian for diving. After an industrious effort down the middle, Jotie Massé could have closed the game off in the 75th minute, but his finishing shot hit the post. This half belonged to Stealth, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

The most dominating SZFC player was without a doubt Matthew Stanley. Frederico Aires on the other hand, had a terrible day. Daniel Austin performed admirably for Stealth. However, Constantin Parpalã made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 0.

Cheers. I'll leave MtS to decide whether the next round is worth pursuing! That's a couple of games I've won comfortably with inferior possession which is encouraging. Money in the bank too after selling a formidable PM, formidable wing, excellent passing guy, extra gates can only help!

MtS advises there's been two more cup wins, both with capacity home crowds, lovely! Through to round 7 for the first time and continuing to build the bank balance. May have a little spend when I get back!

Reckon this will be it though, round 7 is the last 128 I think so I must be a pretty low rank!
