Take it with them two gone Fagin is still with the club .Just wonder why Hoyet didnt get offered a deal maybe Another club sniffing around him .

Probably find PB has though better of committing himself to moving White to CB as first choice.
Also by al accounts Hoyte not great verses Billericay
Fagan at least was up for it and made the runs- even if we were lacking players to notice on the day

I know it's still a couple of weeks till the season opener but I am starting to feel a little worried. We are very light in numbers and without wanting Brown to sign players for the sake of it, we still need players, maybe 5 or 6 players at that. We need two Cemtre Halves, a wide man, goalscoring midfielder and a pacey forward. Then any extras would be welcomed for competition.

Basically, we was not good enough last season and fell short - therefore Laird, Phillips, Bennett, Eastwood, Straker and Read were released from our senior playing staff freeing up wages and spaces (Embargo time) to replace these players with quality and a higher calibre of player.

So far, we have only added Weston and we are sending away trialists. I am sure that the like of Hoyte, Stockdale could do a job in the squad, they must be better than the likes of Thompson (most injury prone and slowest youngster ever) and the unreliable Clifford.

Throw into the mix that we lost three/four loannes during the close season and it is very worrying. I hope it's not a case of signing what's left at a late stage because the hierachy want to save on wages during the weeks leading up till kick off. If you look at the other sides in League Two, they are making decent signings, even AFC Wimbledon has added some decent additions.

True but our right back has been playing in the c b position

Yes because we dont have a centre back.

Surely the priority is to sign a centreback rather than another right back and play White out of position?

Never understood why we were looking at Hoyte.

I dont see us bringing in 5 or 6.

We are not going to get in two centre halves surely? We have Prosser and Thompson as back up.

Laird - Didnt need to be replaced, but Timlin's injury has changed that ?
Phillips - To be replaced
Bennett - Never played so didnt need replacing.
Eastwood- To be replaced
Straker - Weston
Read - Barnard

Id say we need another wide player even with Weston to replace Straker and it looks like Phil is looking at that area.

So even with Timlin's replacement (if we get one) thats only 4 I see us getting in, and 1 or 2 of them may well be loans.

We seem to be trialling a lot of players at the moment so its not like nothing is being done.

For the start of the season we only need a centre-half.

We can add to the depth of the squad during the season.

So much for Brownie saying Hoyte could be the find of the season, the new Ben Coker.!? Whose intelligence are we using to get these people in? Even Leo's called it a day after 30 minutes with us!
i thought he may have more of taste for the experience of Fagan, but not sure if he can last 46 games. Poorer start so far by Brown but still time for hat and rabbit?

I'm not too keen on these players that they ask to look at in training and friendlies. Most are on the knackers yard or simply not good enough, hence they haven't got a club.
I much prefer the ones that we have been watching for a while, and have seen in good competitive action. Even tho other clubs may be after them. At least they are not false hope and a waste of time.

Who's Stockdale?
