It seemes have left the club according to C P . Shockede that Hoyet has gone thought he would get a contract .
True but our right back has been playing in the c b position
I know it's still a couple of weeks till the season opener but I am starting to feel a little worried. We are very light in numbers and without wanting Brown to sign players for the sake of it, we still need players, maybe 5 or 6 players at that. We need two Cemtre Halves, a wide man, goalscoring midfielder and a pacey forward. Then any extras would be welcomed for competition.
Basically, we was not good enough last season and fell short - therefore Laird, Phillips, Bennett, Eastwood, Straker and Read were released from our senior playing staff freeing up wages and spaces (Embargo time) to replace these players with quality and a higher calibre of player.
So far, we have only added Weston and we are sending away trialists. I am sure that the like of Hoyte, Stockdale could do a job in the squad, they must be better than the likes of Thompson (most injury prone and slowest youngster ever) and the unreliable Clifford.
Throw into the mix that we lost three/four loannes during the close season and it is very worrying. I hope it's not a case of signing what's left at a late stage because the hierachy want to save on wages during the weeks leading up till kick off. If you look at the other sides in League Two, they are making decent signings, even AFC Wimbledon has added some decent additions.

I'm not too keen on these players that they ask to look at in training and friendlies. Most are on the knackers yard or simply not good enough, hence they haven't got a club.
I much prefer the ones that we have been watching for a while, and have seen in good competitive action. Even tho other clubs may be after them. At least they are not false hope and a waste of time.
This surely:thumbsup:
Coker?? Leonard??
Coker was watched many times in competitive games, and Leonard was under Paul Sturrock at Plymouth. He always said he had great potential.
