I feel worse now than I did last night. I would say this is my personal worst feeling in supporting sufc. Much worse than donny and getting relegated from championship and league 1 for me.

I'll still be there next season although I'm not sure if I will get a season ticket for the first time in god knows how many years. I miss about 4 home games a season so theres not a lot of saving in having one anyway. I've also decided that I won't be doing many away games next season in order to save to move out. This decision was made even if we went up.

Totally gutted about last night.

Whats everyones thoughts?

gutted, hungover,no voice from screaming when neil harris scored. It will be interesting to see what side we have next season.

Was gutted last night and woke up depressed from it, that never normally happens.

Now the dust has settled massively disappointed but without the rage and pitchfork grabbing feelings others have. If Im totally honest Im more disappointed at not getting to Wembley than not getting to League One.

Want to see what happens next with players staying leaving, and more importantly want to see an active effort to get back to playing entertaining football. If we go back to playing one up front at home Ill be reaching for the prozac...

I'm gutted to be honest but there is nothing you can do about it ,give it a week and it will be back to normal .
at least we have the euros this summer even though England will do naff all it will break up the summer a bit and before you know it it will be pre season friendlys and looking at the fixture list .
But before all that you will have the chance to see Cheltenham beat Crewe at wembley in the play off final and laugh at em

Surely you know Crewe will win?

Gutted. Its not about pitchfork reactions or looking at a mountain of stats that many take comfort from, its that promotion, when we were top, was ours to lose and thats what we did. Gutted because I strongly feel this side were capable of the autos and we could not even do the play-offs properly. Gutted because so many games our play appeared muted and our best never came through and I firmly believe that was due to inept tactics.

If Crewe stay down they will be a big threat next season. Best team I've seen down here since Swindon.

Having supported the Blues for more years than I care to remember, I am used to this kind of disappointment. However, great looking on the bright side has saved over £100 in ticket costs for Wembley let alone the carparking and travel.

Will still be back next season for more.

For a neutral if Cheltenham make it should be a great final as both teams play the ball on the ground. Cannot really pick a winner but maybe Crewe will edge it as Cheltenham have lost their keeper back to Birmingham. Know he had a poor game at Roots Hall but that was probably his only poor game this season.

As the days turn into moths turn into years I just hope that one day I can smile again.

Im so numb. Normally it wears off after a day or so and then i start looking forward to the next game......but there is no next game for a long while :-(

Look on the positives we were fighting for promotion, not fighting to stay in the league, we still have a club that we love to support, we are not glory hunters only in it for the silverware and the chance to chat and boast about big names and big trophy's we support a local side and suffer the trials and tribulations of doing that, we blew it mid season this year but surely most of us knew we would.
That's what you get for supporting SOUTHEND UNITED FC:smile:

Been there, seen it, got the t-shirt.

I remember a happy night coming away from Roots Hall after thumping Workington 7-0 with aboout 6-7 games to go we were absolute shoo ins for promotion yet we managed to snatch 7th place from the jaws of the top 4.

Disagree that it was worse than Donny. That was my worst moment as a Southend fan. I felt humiliated and my mood was made none the better by Alvin ****ing Martin's failure to do the honourable thing and fall on his sword.

Corr might be back next season though.
