How **** was Jools' new year show last night.

Peep Show said it best. "No, not the Hootenanny, never the Hootenanny, we're better than that".

Possibly better than the idiot they got to sing along with Queen! We turned the sound down and just waited for them to go to Big Ben before turning it back up!

Saw the bit with wilko. Great to see him back, although with Jools' Hootenany you never know which year/decade it was filmed in.

I thought Adam Lambert was ok. At the end of the day, you're never going to replace Freddy Mercury. Over camped it a tad, (but so did Freddy in some of the old videos!), but can't deny his voice is pretty good

He's not done bad for someone who was a runner up on american idol, prefer Paul Rodgers though personally.

You can sort of get why he was a bit over excited. 4 years ago he was a nobody, now he is on tour as part of one of the worlds most recognisable rock bands. Live the dream young man

Wilko was great. Backed by the best bass player in the business and a drummer who released the best jazz album last year. William Bell was also superb as was Hayseed Dixie. I enjoyed it.

Paloma Faith is either having intimate relations with JH, or has incriminating photos of him. Those are the only two valid explanations for why she's still on our TV screens every night of the week (it seems).

Must be - she is rather dreadful :omg:
