How many points this season ?

thinking about piling into a massive spread bet, bookies especially in the lower divisions go on the record of the last couple of seasons of which weren't the best for us but from 54 last year I think 75 is very possibly this year. Love to know what others think

Definitely confident we'll be in the mix for the play-offs come May, whereby you need a minimum of 72 points by the law of averages [24 wins for example].

Roots hall, will need to be our fortress this year and I think 50 points [minimum] should be Tilly's target at home & perhaps 25-30 points away.

Automatic promotion is the key and SUFC would need around 85 points for that... I don't think we will be too far off this sort of mark, but I definitely won't be staking my life on it [at least not until we get to Xmas & then we'll see!].

In previous seasons, we have had similar expectation and maybe this is a tough call, but what I have seen to date, gives me no reason to think that these points tallies are inconceivable... It'll be all down to confidence, hard work and fitness at the end of the day, so we'll see!

I have looked on bet fair and spoken to a pal who works at cantor index and they only do prem points spread, so if anyone knows anywhere that takes this bet can you post please.
As been said if they mark it up as the same tally as last season then its a definate buy as we will push on for the 70 point mark .

All boils down to how well you think we will do. 70/71 points is traditionally the bottom play-off spot so with 75 you're looking at around the middle of the play-offs.

Where do you see us then, or doesn't your position allow you to say?

Everything I have heard [to date], suggests confidence is variable, but leaning towards the play-offs and I have to agree!

Be nice to hear your opinion...
