How many can Barnard get next year?

Providing that he stays fit throughout the whole campaign and holds a starting place- how many goals do you think he can get us? (Carrying in from the Hooper thread debate.)

If he stays fit I think he could top 20!

However, he is injury prone though so can't see him going a whole season without picking up a couple of injuries.

Still, Lee Barnard Barnard, he's slimmer than Frank Lampard, he's better than Steve Gerrard, Lee Barnard Barnard.

I have gone for 16-20 because I think we will play around 30 games this season and 2 goals every 3 matches seems a reasonable assumption.

agree completely. we know if he gets a chance 9 times out of ten he will put it away or force a save, but with gower gone i just dont see us creating as many chances, because even for how lacluster gower was some of the time he still created chances.

maybe the moussssss can make the step up this year and or scannel?

It's very difficult to see him going the entire season without having to spend some period on the sidelines with a knock. 16-20 should be easy - if he can stay fit Mr Ayrshire's estimate above is reachable

was going to say the same thing and add to it that he is capable of fashioning a chance for himself also, he scored a couple of good individual goals last season.

Obviously we've lost Gower's supply but we do have midfielders and (a) full-back who can create chances, not forgetting Walker/Revell/Furlong up front with him.

I think we will be lucky if completes a full season, if we have him for 30 games we would have done well.

My guess is no more than 15

Which is why tilly must be looking at another striker cos Revell and Walker aint gonna get more than 15 between them.

I think Walker can get double figures. I dont think scoring goals is the problem as we'll pop up with a few from midfield with Macca and if Bailey stays, they'll push for 25-30 between them.

It's conceeding goals that is the problem for us which our new 6ft 6'' Goalie will hopefully help.

I am praying every night to God that he stays fit cuz frankly I think are other strikers will struggle to get 10 between them. Hence why I would like two more strikers in at least.
