Question How late can you arrive at RH and still get in for game?

Flying back from France on Saturday - due to land at Stansted at 1.45pm.

Reckon that after passports, baggage, shuttle to car park and drive back to Westcliff it could be 3.30pm.

Will I still be able to get in for Leicester match via turnstiles or reception?

Cheers

no chance of an earlier flight?

I think you could make it for kick off if you land bang on time just go A120 then A130 join A127

Then again if the crowd is going to be a big one the mite be a tiny chance kick off will be delayed 15 mins

You'll be able to get in, but might take a bit of time trying to find a steward and then persuading them to let you in as you have a season card (or match ticket).

Don't know what the score is if you don't have a ticket, although worse come to the worse you can always nip in for the final minutes after they open the gates.

I think it used to be half-time (although please don't quote me on that), I had a mate who used to work in the ticket office and they had to work at the ticket booth (west stand entrance) until half time and then could go and watch the second half (although that could possibly be because they were let in as members of staff).

Got my season card - just a question of getting to RH and getting in;

Right, in that case it's just a matter of finding a steward and convincing them to let you in. It will probably take about 5 minutes from reaching the gates.

If the steward is being arsey about it, just get them to get their supervisor or find another steward.

I got in RH after 39 minurtes of the Man Utd game, after the train broke down !!! Joy, no problems, normally a steward on the gate.

Ah, that one sounds familiar as well.

My favourite turn up late game though was Chester in the 4th division. I'd get collared with something at work at 5pm on a Friday and didn't get out until about 8pm. By the time I'd got down to Southend on the train it was midway through the second half. I rocked up and everyone is groaning at what an awful game it was, only for Andy Harris to sky a clearance straight up in the air and Lawrie Dudfield to fire it home with about 5 minutes left. Got to see about 20 minutes of football, but got to celebrate the goal and the win and missed the rest of a dire game.

I had to find someone to let me in for the Donny play off last season after arriving just before half time, they ended up letting me in at the side next to the East Blacks and walked me along the pitch to the East Greens. This was only after I'd convinced the steward that I didn't need to have a ticket as the match had been credited to my season card.

yeah u can get in any time, someone behind me thought kick off once was 3 oclock but it was actually 1! They were shocked to see a few goals when they turned up :D
