Rayleigh boy

Director⭐
betwen one and ten - or one and and a hundred whatever ...

1. just a bit irritable today

10. burnt the shirt and on the phone to Russell Slade begging him to come on down

Not irritable, a bit hungover but thats quite usual.

So I'd say '1' just for the hangover.

Oh and Russel Slade? C'mon seriously!

Upsets happen - and they've provided us with as many highs as lows. If the most troubling thing in the world that you can think of is last night's match, then you're not trying hard enough. :chill:

I am entitled to my misery - effing Yeovil - effing Crewe - effing col u in the office looking forward to monday morning....

How fed up am i ?? well i had a panini for a late breatfast, and a tuna sandwich around 2 .. feeling a bit peckish now so i guess you'd say not that fed up

Not really fed up (well perhaps just a weeee bit) ......in fact more relieved than anything else. If we had won last night there are some, including me, that would have started believing in the Renaissance of this season........play-offs etc..... well that rubbish has been well and truly knocked out of us. All to the good, quite honestly, because this season, we really aren't a prospective Championship side.......are we?
My mind is already drifting towards the summer and how (If) we are going to strengthen the side in order us to make a serious promotion challenge next season.
We all know roughly what is needed and by the closure of the summer transfer window, we shall be able to make a reasonable assessment for our prospects in the 2009/10 season.

5/10 for me. Unlike a few other posters, I personally am very fed up.

Fed up of the dream of our local club proven that is was just a dream:

1. We have lost the players you felt as if you knew and that you could relate to/feel that they loved playing for the the club: The likes of Gower, Maher, Spinner, Che WIlson, Flavs, The Goat, Bentley, Wayne Gray etc. (I would say that Barratt and Clarke are the only ones I could say that about now)

2. I fell for it...like all gullable football fans. I fell for the dream that we could consolidate in the Championship. Poor signings (Paynter, Foran, Harrold etc) saw to that in addition to the release of certain work-horses (see above) who could have done us a turn in the relegation battle.

3. Annoyed at the lies from the powers above in stating that our earnings from the sales of our players would be re-invested into strenthening the squad. (Freddy, Bailey etc). In addition to this, the earnings from LDV days out, Man United, Chelsea etc

4. The Dream of a new stadium is delayed...will it ever happen. For the first time, I am starting to worry.

5. The new Southend under the Tilly, for the very first time last night genuinley felt like the 'bad old' league two days again. Poor players, poor entertainment, awful atmosphere and dwindling attendances. Did I mention an awful result

The other 5/10 is why I love and will always love my local club:

It is our club, I will go through thick and thin like the other 3,600-ish dies hards who used to go week in and week out. Its our club, our town and it is worth it for when the good times come round:

Although I am fuming today, If I think of the past 5/6 years. We went from facing the conference to a better position that we find ourselves in today. And on the way, we made two national finals, won a play off final, won the league ahead of our arch rivals, beat Man United in our own back yard, drew at the 'Bridge and gave Tottenham an almighty scare.

Oh sod it, without the bad times you would'nt apprecaite the good times quite as much. Who knows, Saturday against Col Ewe just might be another one of 'them' amazing days that make the poor times seem worthwhile and might just be included in my good half of the 5/10.
