If, and of course it's a big IF, we end up playing Spurs again, all the away allocation will be sold so it wouldn't affect the crowd there. I would hope that we would take a full crowd to Ipswich too. In fact, if we are still in with a shout of avoiding relegation come March/April, I imagine that most of our away tickets will sell.

This is something I suggested on another thread when we played Spurs in the Carling Cup. I can understand the club not wanting to hire a big screen for the occasion but I'm intrigued to know the costs involved (bar staff etc) of a beam back to the bars around Roots Hall.

Should we make it to WHL in the next round of the FA Cup this really should be something that Ron should seriously look into. I dare say that there would be a fair few Southend supporters that cannot make the game or couldn't get tickets that would relish the thought of watching it live surrounded by their fellow supporters.

Come on Ron, it may actually be a little money spinner for the club. And even if it's not it is great PR as far as the club/supporter relationship is concerned.

Arn't there all kinds of other complications here though.. Dont the other club have to agree.. and as its a cup game get a share of the takings? Also the BBc or Sky or whoever owns the coverage rights must have a say..I cant see them wanting to set a precedent for this kind of thing..

The main issue here though is that away fans are barred from Molineux for that game following trouble last year.

The club must feel that they have to put something on for fans who want to see the game, and to avoid putting them at risk by fans trying to get into the home ends at Wolves.

But this isn't the first beamback Cardiff have done. The article refers to trying to break the hoodoo of never having won a beamback, which implies at least two previous beamsback.

Some Cardiff fans are trying to organise a blimp to watch the game apparently.

And believe it or not, Ninian Park already has a big screen so the cost of hiring/erecting a screen isn't incurred; although it seems it's not being used for this Beamback.

They're bound to sell out as Cardiff fans have been banned from Molineux.
