All I can say how can Some people on here call themselves Southend United fans...

I can never slag of the club I love like they u have tonight.... clearly some are taking a pleasure from our clubs mistakes

You all should be ashamed.....

and have a good look at yourselves.. maybe you should support another Club

If I was a Moderator I would Ban the *******s

I think at the moment it seems the club is going through a rocky patch, people like areselfs who pay alot of money to go see them each and every week every season are entittled to say what we want about the club, after all we all think differently, im sure theres thinks i think is best and you lot may disagreem and likewise but at the end of the day whats the point of having SZ if we cant have are say on the club we all love? there are going to be times where we want a moan and a groan about performances and players but thats football.

Well said my friend........no one is forced to follow this club.

If it produced in me such a need to slag them of 24/7 i would stop following them unless i was little bit sadistically motivated!!!!!!!

its times like these that the club needs us the most. can't quite believe how bad our options are up front at the moment, with the players out, injured etc. gone from 5 strikers at the club to 1 in a matter of weeks. lets give hooper a chance today. i just hope he doesn't keep slipping all over the place because that really does wind me up.

Great post and exactly the point. No-one's forced to support Southend, so if you don't like it, go and waste your money paying double the ticket price at some London club up the road. Put up or shut up!

Have we all gone blonde or something here? Use your heads and think. We've just been relegated - now, correct me if I'm wrong, but the last time we were relegated from what is now the Championship, we dropped straight to Division 3, as it was then. So, if I were Steve, that would be my number 1 aim for this year - don't drop straight through League 1 and undo the hard work of the last 3 years.

I know that Fossett's is coming, but we don't have to be in the Championship for it to be financially viable - if we can pull in 15k a match, I'll be bloody delighted.

And (wandering into Clicheville here), but what happened to the fans being the 12th man? The way that we go on about Pynter and Hooper and practically every other team member at the minute, we may as well be giving ourselves a red card before the game's even started. Thus 10 men, thus making winning the game harder. If we want to see our club succeed, we've got to help them suceed, cause otherwise it's MK Donsville for us - a massive stadium that's not being filled, with a rubbish squad because the fans have abandoned the club, thus no money, and thus we're back where we were 3 years ago (and, I will add, where we stayed for the best part of a decade).
