9pm The Falklands war.. one to record and series link on Sky rund till Friday i think ..Then on the Saturday the story of the Vulcan bomber raid on Port Stanley..If its half as good as the book it will be Excellent..
 
Yep, the noise that the Vulcan made as it climbed through the sky was terrifying; I don't know whether it was an intentional factor, considering its original role as a conveyor of weapons such as the the 'Yellow Sun' high-yield strategic nuclear bomb, but it certainly had the desired effect for me.

[trainspotter] Only the pilot and co pilot had ejector seats and if anything went wrong they could bail out and leave the crew to do a manual bail out which if time was short meant certain death.
