I have been a quiet member of the forum for a few months now, and suddenly realised I have never posted anything, so no better place than this thread to start!
I was born in Southend to a familys-worth of SUFC fans (Mum, Dad, Uncle, Aunt, Cousins, Grandparents etc) and have been an avid Shrimper since I was a youngster and saw us win against Sheffield United in '89 on a cold Friday night standing in the terraces. Never wanted to support anyone else (unlike my sister who supports West Ham).
I was one of the fortunate people to win a pair of tickets from the Skybet competition, which made my day (although my cousin is a bit peeved as he had already got me a ticket, still available if anyone on here wants), so will be singing loud and proud on Saturday. I was planning on heading to the Green Man on Saturday so hopefully meet some of you there!
