This chap should have been nominated in the Battle of the Heroes, without any shadow of a doubt, representative of all the brave troops who've fought for King/Queen and country.

And now the oldest man in the world, Britain is proud of you sir, I hope now that SOMEONE at the top will ensure this gentleman, along with Harry Patch, is given proper recognition from this country - OBE at least!

The whole country should salute this gentleman. One of the best bio's I've read on Wiki for a long long time. This bit especially made me laugh.
