The Business
I know we all give West Ham some stick and most of us hope they crash and burn but got to say on a one to one basis I think most West Ham fans are good lads. I despise them for attemtong to nick our support and I hate it when kids come to Roots Hall in West Ham shirts etc but I guess you can only blame the kids and parents for that. Worked with loads of West Ham fans down the years and always get on well with them.

However I realised last night that I have never met a Spurs fan who was not a total ****. I think Spurs fans always think they are something special despite not having won anything since 1751 or something like that any they seem to think they are the same size as Arsenal which is laughable. I have no feelings for either club but anyone can see Arsenal are a class above Spurs.

Has anyone ever know a Spurs fan who is not a total ******?

My first serious boyfriend was a Spurs fan, and I have a good friend who is one too who I met up with before the games up there and we travelled up together. I don't dislike Spurs or their fans but I'm afraid I do West Ham, and the vast majority of Spammers fans that I know fit your description of Spurs fans so I guess that puts me in the 2nd choice option there.

About 8 of my mates are Yiddos. All decent geezers. In fact most of them have a great like for Southend (mainly due to me forcing it on them).

All Arsenal fans are ***** - that is 100% certainty.

Have to agree with you there, and I also can't agree with Dave about Spam fans generally being 'good lads'. Both Arsenal and Spam fans witter on endlessly about 'playing football the right way' and look down their noses at teams that might be a little more direct but can afford to sign players and actually win things from time to time. I find a lot of Tottenham fans (and I meet many at Bar Mitzvahs) have an amusing dose of cynicism and pessimism about their club which I find quite endearing.

Must agree. I know a couple of West Ham fans and they always act like *****. Especially when referring to the World Cup in '66. "We won the world cup ra ra ra", **** off with all that bollocks.

Infact, when you think about it i've never heard a west ham fan talking about anything ither than;

World cup '66
Sheff Utd
Tevez
Intertoto cup
Di Canio

By World Cup 66 I assume you're also including in that Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst etc? I'd also enlarge that list a little to inclue their "celebrity supporters" plus Billy Bonds, Frank Lampard senior and Sir Trevor Brooking of course.

Hmmm? Not sure what you mean.

What i'm saying is every West ham fan i've come across will always spout the same old crap.
question;

"Whats the last thing West Ham won?"

"Err, we won the world cup in '66"

"No, ENGLAND won the World cup in '66"

"na na na, you check the record books it was West Ham"

And so on....

My old man was Spurs. He used to go and watch Greavsie and the boys yet somehow never felt it right to take his only son to the Lane. Instead choosing the local SUFC, standing on the West bank steps. In fact, he'd never been back to the Lane after he had me which i find a bit strange.
He's certainly not a w***** in fact he's the nicest bloke you could meet.

I work for a family of Spurs fans. When i walk in of a morning it's Tottenham this, Spurs that. This morning i walked in and they're full of it after beating Liverpool yesterday and they stand in disbelief when i say that i forgot they were playing Sunday!
They love to take the pi$$ over my small club mentality but i'd say there's much more respect after we took 'em to the end of xtra time in their own back garden.

Generally, i find Arsenal fans get wrapped up in their own little world and like to inform you with "watch out for (insert French name here), he's gonna tear up the Premiership".
I find West Ham fans always have too much to say, being loud and brash, often repetitive. They feel a need to be noticed.
Chelsea, well they're just meatheads mixed up with glory hunters which gives them quite a strange fanbase.

Tottingham on the other hand are the most knowledgable fans out of this group i've mentioned. The yids are also the most fickle fans in the country and they constantly whine about players and their manager. Never happy. Been brought up on Ardiles, Hoddle, Greavsie, Gascoigne and Lineker. Great players that are forever the yardstick by which everyone else is measured!

Got to say that plenty of Southend fans more than leave enough to be desired too and could certainly be described as absolute *****.

And knowing the Krays.

A couple of my best mates are Spurs fans but them, and West Ham fans, are the most deluded fans I've ever spoke to.

Both think they are massive Clubs who deserve to win silverware every year. It really annoys me because they don't have a lot to back it up with. Yes Spurs USED to be good, but we are going back a long way to their last piece of silverware bar the Carling Cup and I don't even know when West Ham won any silverware bar the Play-Offs.

Neither have a clue. I much prefer to speak to Arsenal fans about football. My Arsenal supporting uncle is the most knowledgeable football fan I have ever spoken to.

My family actually hail from Tottenham before my Grandad relocated the clan to Southen just after WWII. Therefore I'll always look out for Tottenham's results.

I am a Southend supporter cos i have a season ticket an that, but im a Spurs fan an i cant see a problem that were both alike really always thinking we could do better but don't lol
