Get in! Played the team relegated from IV that regularly fields 220+ hatstats, I knew their keeper and best defender were out injured so figured I had a chance. One of my first choice defenders was out so switched to 3-5-2, played both wingers towards middle and MOTSed in the hope of winning possession. It worked as we sneaked the midfield by three sub levels and went on to put their weakened defence to the sword. Splendid!

ShrimperZone FC 5-3 Accrington Stanley

Finally broke the 200 hatstat barrier with 209 (funnily enough achieved with 47.5 stars, 5.5 less than my previous record of 53 - evil things!). On the downside we went down a spot to 5th but we are joint 2nd on 12 points.

Doubled with another BT Cup win it's a good day all round

Won 3-2 at home... still no nearer to getting that keeper!

Oh, for defender trainers out there, I've got a decent 17 year old wing-back trainee for sale - passable defending, inadequate wing...

Mickey Warner-Davies (118977124)
17 years, passable form, healthy
A pleasant guy who is calm and upright.
Has disastrous experience and poor leadership abilities.

You call that a wing-back

Won 3-0 in front of a record 29K crowd, a record 41 stars and record 140 hatstats (playing 5-4-1) and all this with virtually a second string midfield.

From being all doom and gloom a few weeks ago I'm now 4th (joint second) and only one point behind 1st place who only managed a draw. Unlikely to finish top but 3rd or 2nd is a real possibility.

I won 2-0 with only 10 men and an outfield player in goal. Maybe I should start picking my team as I seem to have a few injuries. Now 2nd in the league despite my complacency.

Well, if a 17 yo youth pull with passable defending and inadequate wing isn't a wing-back, what is he, then?
