Has Fred played his last game for us ?

Not much on here about Fredi's injury - anyone know how serious it is ? - will he play through the pain barrier if necessary at Plymouth ? We sure missed his presence yesterday

Not sure that he's played his last game for us but it's all been mysteriously silent on the Freddy front. He apparently had painkilling injections on Saturday morning but that is the last I have heard and the OS only listed his injury as "back spasms" which sounds very non-descript to me. Hopefully there's not more to this than meets the eye...

Whatever the views posted on here about Fred , I feel that other teams fear his presence and I am sure it would have given Barnsley a massive boost to hear they weren't going to face him

Get well soon Fredi !

You probably noticed that the Two main Strikers hardly got a shot in last Saturday ,that's the One thing he definately has no trouble with as he has the ability to side step a Defender to get his Shots in (unlike all the replacements and Bradbury) .
So they will move Heaven and Earth to get him fit for the Plymouth Game .
If we can't Shoot we can't Score and we can't always expect the Midfield or the Winger to supply the Goals .

I am sure he'll be there on Sat - if he was 50/50 last Sat hopefully given seven days rest I sure he'll be fine.

But from what I heard the doctors /physios don't seem to have been able to establish what's causing the problem .

Put this on here in case anyone can enlighten us ..... Mr McScriven...??

Just to add to your point:

Freddy Eastwood - 146 shots this season (1st)
Lee Bradbury, Matt Harrold, Gary Hooper, Billy Paynter, Richie Foran, Michael Ricketts, James Lawson, Lloyd Sam - 100 shots this season
Mark Gower - 85 shots this season (2nd)
Kevin Maher - 49 shots this season (3rd)

Thanks for that sufcintheprem ,looking at those Stats it's even worse than I thought ,all those other Strikers only having 100 Shots between them ,Shocking .

Pretty poor, although Lawson,Ricketts and Sam hardly got on the pitch of course, but dire nonethe less.

Brushy's comments in the Echo today are pretty worrying . If Fred is out for the rest of the season , presume that could affect his value and the chances of offers coming in

heard today that all these reports that fred was gonna have injections to play saturday were complete rubbish.
he was never gonna play saturday.
he went out clubbing friday night again.
