I wonder what dreams Einstein had.
Did protons bandy circular about
some hidden portions of his brain?
What scientists of sleep
would give to see this scientist at sleep.
Perhaps his rapid eye movements
approached the speed of light.
How relative are dreams
to the Doctor as he sleeps his giant sleep?
Would he dream the same dreams we would
when he knows what no other comprehends
and sees the clockwork patterns
which lie behind the physics of the atom?
Whether man or superman,
mortal or immortal,
even Einstein had an id.
