NEIL Harris is hoping for another special Friday night of football at Roots Hall this evening when Southend United host promotion rivals Shrewsbury Town.

“I’ve always loved the Friday night games at Roots Hall because there just seems to be an even better atmosphere,” said Harris, 34.

“The first game I ever saw live was on a Friday at Roots Hall and I’ve enjoyed them ever since."

“The improved atmosphere normally seems to work its way down to the players and that’s another reason why I’m really looking to tonight’s game.”

Says it all doesn't it?

Sing up tonight people. We have not lost a night game in a long time for a reason...

Not often i post, but just wanted to say ....Wow am i excited . Sunshine , girls wandering around the city in next to nothing and a Friday night table-topper at The Hall. Its the perfect storm !!
