Club have just announced on Twitter!

Smart move by Harlow, these games usually bring in very few fans but as both clubs are without a fixture on Saturday afternoon they're holding it then. I'm guessing quite a few more will take the opportunity to pop along - it's got to be better than going shopping with the Mrs!

Should be a decent crowd as it is a Saturday.Nice set up at Harlow.Matt Harrold played for them,i think it may have been his first club.

Really?
Certainly wouldn't think there'd be any first team players playing. With a game Friday night and another on Tuesday evening no one who's anywhere near the first team will be risked, will they?

surely we'd play something like,

Smith
Augur Banton, Johnson, Farrell,
Scott, Payne, Laird (c), Pinnock
Njie Cotton
Subs, Chambers, King, Williams, Williams, Norman, Gard & Matsuzaka

Yes good idea by Harlow!? Southend will probably play an inexperienced side and Harlow would have a better chance of winning.
I remember when we used to take this competition a bit more seriously, why do we even bother entering now?
Although it has been recorded that we have played our First XI in this competition and lost at some lowly non league side!!

As for playing on a Saturday our only other time was back in 1980 (5 Jan) at Basildon United (won 5-3)

i don't think the youth team have a game this Saturday so i'd imagine RD will take them to Harlow. i can't see many of the first team squad if any going, especially with another game on Tuesday.

If the first team playeers come through friday night without any injuries ,icannot see why some of the reserves cant get a game on Saturday, Do players like Timlin, Reid ,Smith, etc a world of good , maybe even Laird maybe fit enough for a cameo.

I would have thought the subs from tonight would be involved tomorrow - particularly the non-playing ones. I would suspect something like this:

Smith

Auger Prosser Banton Straker

Gard Timlin Payne Pinnock

Reid Cotton

i have a funny suspicion that Mr Payne will start tonight...

One of my muckers, who lives in nearby Sawbridgeworth, and regularly goes to watch Harlow, said there was some excellent footballl played by both sides.....

Nothing written here about the game and the team put out .Didnt anyone go , thought SUFC might have written a match report ,seems thats how little they care about the Essex Senior Cup.

I see seedy Njie was cautioned in the 78th minute for it states : persistently infringeing the laws of the game ,so what was he doing to infringe the laws of the game.Persistently i might add .
