Anyone on here ever do any handicap betting? Tried it for the first time last week and put £7 on Spain to beat France(France starting 1-0 up) and England to beat Egypt (Egypt starting 1-0 up) at a nice 9/1

Yeah, I much prefer the Asian handicap betting: you get better odds and more interesting match-ups.

What he said. In a betting shop, the bookies are working to a theoretical margin of about 12% on the match result in football games. In Asian handicap betting, it's more like 3 or 4%. In the long run, you'll do better.
