Hammell's Motherwell thoughts

fair comments from stevie... i think his time down south will have done him good, and perhaps he will be in the reckoning for future scotland squads. hopefully mccormack is settled and won't be annoyed that both hammell and foran have gone

Eastwood starts....

.....for wales.....apperently he had a good game for the welsh tonight..

crazy coloured shirts! bright yellow and red

Good luck to Stevie at Motherwell and I would be absolutely delighted to see him get back into the Scotland squad again.

Saw highlights on Sky's round up last night. Was it him trying to block the first goal on the line? Good corner though, glad to see he left us able to deliver so well!

interesting that they seem to slate his aerial ability... ok he he wasn't efe sodje but for a small guy i thought he was good in the air and won more than he should have really

Good luck to Stevie Hammell I really do wish him all the best was a great player while he was here and hope he does get rewarded with a Scottish call up. :D

Just speaking to a guy at work who went to the game last night and he said Hammell was, & I quote, "Pish".

Pulled out of position constantly and guilty of a number of sloppy back-passes to their keeper. Although he thought he's improved his attacking part of his game.

Sound familiar? ? ?

No, not really

Very familiar. Over-rated in my opinion just like some of our other recent left backs- Searle, Jenkins, Nicolau and it sounds like Mulgrew will slot comfortably into this category. Give me Che over any of this lot- not the most gifted of players, in fact quite limited, but he knew how to defend and could play a role for the team.

Damon Searle was never overrated!!! he was out and out good left back who should have became captain at the time
