Now, I'm probably going to get shot down in flames for discussing this but what do people think about the BlueBelles half-time dance routine?

For me unfortunately, it's becoming a little bit 'samey' - initially, it was very entertaining but now it's becoming a bit boring.

Don't get me wrong I'm sure lots of effort is put into rehearsals which I'm sure puts lots of demands on their time etc., but I wonder if the club could now think about something new.

I'm sure many will disagree, and I really hope I don't upset anyone's feelings but for me, once you have seen one dance routine, you have seen them all.

Whats everyone's thoughts?

:stunned:

In all honesty, I don't think too many people are paying too much attention to the "routines". It don't get much better than the blue belles imo, although I was disappointed not to see the half time ford football challenge.

Having not been there on saturday, has the half time challenge changed? I never watch the dancing anyway as i normally go and have a pee or queue for a burger so it doesn't bother me in all honesty.

There was no challenge. Maybe ford withdrew their sponsorship after they had to give away an unexpected free car or two last year.

IMO, even that's run its course. I wonder if we could set up a penalty shoot-out between home/away fans? Probably not good for the pitch, but I would find it entertaining.

hope ford challenge is still going, think it may have just been cancelled on sat cos of flava challenging the blue belles to a dance off!

The Half time challenge for me is usually getting a hot dog and taking a leak before the second half starts...

I thought whoever the first lot of girls were who did the street dancing, with the white hoods, they were awesome, thats proper dancing!

There was one guy in there Sarah, although I'm sure when they did Britain's Got Talent there was two guys and three girls. I thought it was good that they stayed on to watch the match and didn't just scarper once they'd finished.

I expect a barrage of red for this comment so get at your ready.

But I don't like the bluebelles, you could almost describe them as porn with clothes on the way they act these days in my opinion, which to a few of you may be considered as a good thing. I thought the club was supposed to be a family club, yet the bluebelles are hardly good for young hormonal men.

I guess you'll all say that its harmless fun or whatnot, but I'd beg to disagree. If some men concentrated on their marriage rather then getting turned on by fantasies then I'm sure we'd see more children with 2 parents, which if you were brought up by a single parent, will know is a massive part of childhood.

Just my opinion. I personally would much rather enjoy my wife (future tense) then the fantasy of the bluebelles. I know I'm in the minority and I expect abuse.

I see your point, but there's a whole world of difference between thinking "Blimey, that woman's a bit tasty" and letting a marriage go to pot. Are you saying that when you get married you're literally never going to set eyes on another woman again!

The Bluebelles aren't stuck in the middle of a football pitch to be a fantasy to all the blokes in the crowd - they're there for a bit of glitz and glamour, in exactly the same way cheerleaders are in American sports.
