OK, I can imagine Swansea isn't exactly paradise to live in (even short-term) but, no offence JS, for football reasons why swap our relegation battle for a comparable one in League One. At least with Swansea he could maybe have tried to get promoted again!

I'd love it if Adam Chambers came the other way, though I doubt it'll happen...

Still, Tilly shows his ruthless streak yet again - he's a classic "it's my way or the highway" kind of guy: Constantine, Ricketts, Guttridge... not necessarily bad players, but if they don't knuckle down and join in with the dressing room, then he does get rid very quickly. It is a bold, brave and usually successful policy, IMHO.

I heard a good few weeks back that he wanted out.

My understanding is he would have gone to any other fairly local Club.

And all three in the same position. At the end of the transfer window in the summer, most of us were surmising that we didn't have enough central midfield players - and the situation is getting worse ! !

Same reason that c%&t Hutchings did, I'd imagine. Guttridge seems like the kind of player that loves the moolah....

Plus he is of course settled in the area, and he's got his two best mates from Cambridge at Orient.

Can't say I'm complaining about the move, mind. We're desperately short of cover in the middle of the park, and, attitude aside, he's a cracking little player at this level.  

ps. No offence to me? I think you've just appeared on DtS' hit list.
