CHELTENHAM -LOST

TORQUAY-DREW AT HOME TO 16TH PLACE BRISTOL

CRAWLEY- DRAW WITH 20TH PLACED MACCLESFIELD

OXFORD- LOSE TO 20TH PLACE BRADFORD

GILLINGHAM - LOSE 3 -4 IN ANOTHER AMAZIMG GAME 93RD MINUTE GOAL

So all in all a point is not too bad and just one of those things. Lets not dwell on it and look at the positives. It seems that all the top 7 apart from Swindon are finding it hard to pick up points and it appearss like it's going down to the wire.
In that respect its an absorbing last 10 games .

That is good news. But how many times can we keep buggering up at home, and still go up, how we are still up in contention i have no idea.

Still having to rely on other teams dropping points to have a chance to win promotion!

On the plus side we seem to have got a little unbeaten run going.

Good atmosphere today also, the club must be wondering why they didn't let us sit in the north bank before now.

Nah Family Stand. Generally quiet, bar the crunching of burgers and the cranking of seats as people stood up to graze at the Burger Bar.

Blimey never a dull moment at Gillingham!

Have to agree with the original poster. I actually thought Accrington played well, they had a game plan and it was going well until we made some excellent substitutions. We showed a lot of character to come back but you can't switch off like we did at the end. Had two first choice defenders missing. I thought Benyon was excellent when he came on, hopefully that goal will give him a lift.

I still think we'll end up in the play-offs but the last three games have been considerably better than the ones that went before them. If Hall is back to his best and we can get Benyon firing, who knows.

It seem the top ten clubs are on a self destruct mission except for swindon. Who goes up with swindon or make the play offs will go down to the last game im sure, as there seems to be lots of teams bottling it ! Stress levels in next couple of months are going to be high. Might be good idea to stock up on some extra beer !

Cheltrnhams next 4 fixtures are home to Gillingham then away to Shrewsbury then home to Oxford then away to Southend. Very tough for them.

There are positives and negatives from today. Obviously we dropped more silly points at home but everyone else dropped points and also we have barker and hills back with Sampson extending his loan. We seriously need to kill off games because it really coming back to haunt us

A win for Torquay in their game in hand on tuesday will see them overtake us and we'll be down to fourth. Also Cheltenham's blip has gone on for seven games or so you can't expect us to hope they'll be in that blip for much longer. We haven't really capitalised on their misfortune. We must to do the business ourselves. We'll we be worthy promotion winners solely relying on other team's blips?

But looking for the negative blue .. it appears you already have Torquay down for a win Tuesday and you also predict Chelts will come good

How about we emerge from our lull first ??

Im afraid you cant assume torquay will win there game in hand on the blues and overtake us. So many of the promotion and play off contenders are looking fragile, its just not us looking dodgy !!

Didn't mean to sound pessimistic just that our lull seems to have gone on a long time. Admittedly at least two of our last three games have been better but the fact is we're not winning consistently nor regularly killing teams off. Now has to be the time to start showing it. I was also meant to say it wouldn't surprise me if the one or ytwo others find their form consistently before we do. After such a fantastic first half to the season maybe that will prove to be the best part of our season but then you don't win anything in the first three months or so.

you're probably right, but thinking about it i'm not sure we're in a lull at all its just the results have stopped going our way

oh lordy i really don't know any more :dizzy:
