Top two go through

ORM - Promotion at Stockport
DSLC - Searle V Rushden
Shrimpe2thecore - Beating Colchester 6-1
OlvisIII - Swansea away in the 2005-2006 season - freddy Eastwood double got us promoted thanks to results going our way.

Another clean sweep for me

Stockport was my first promotion party as the successes of 78 and 81 were both before i travelled away .. a brilliant brilliant day out was had including an impronto game of football in a park near Edgeley Park that was about 30 a side onto the game and a sublime early volley from Glenn Pennyfather calmed any nerves and the win was confirmed by ace striker Richard Cadette in what turned out to be his final appearance in a Blues shirt near to the end clinched it .. around 50 or so Wolves fans had made the trip up to cheer on County as any slip could've seen them pip us to promotion and we gave them a friendly send off as the second goal went in, my mate Peter Miles somehow got into the changing room and jumped fully clothed into the bath, he boarded the coach minutes later dripping over all and sundry

Damon Searles hit was an absolute peach and worthy of winning any game but it can't come close to the other three options here

6-1 on aggregate .. i bought one of the t shirts unfortunately the quality wasn't all that and within the year was unwearable .. the away game in particular was just so special, 3 up in half an hour (tv cameras would later show pictures of Ewes in the home end bawling their eyes out in shock :hilarious:

Swansea .. when i got confirmed news of Sir Michael Nelson netting for Hartlepool at Griffin Park i broke down in tears

Think about this boys and girls, beating the scum 6-1 on aggregate meant so much.

The first match, we were still flying high about beaing in league one, we saw an absolute wonder goal from Mitchell Cole, and a brace from the Goat - amazing.

The second game saw us 3-0 up in 30 minutes - Eastwood, Maher and Wilson!!

This led to the classics "Who put the ball in the Col Ewe net? Everybody did!" and "6-1, even Wilson scored"

We also pipped the scum to the title on the final day, something we would not have acheived without these two victories.

Simply amazing!

Has to be Swansea away, gaining promotion to the 2nd tier for only the 2nd time in our history.

Wish I'd been there

The promotion party at Swansea for me. It still gives me goosebumps to think about it. As a game it had everything, two strikers on top of their game in Eastwood and Fallon, some excellent attacking football from both sides, an electric atmosphere, and the fact it meant so much to us as well.

I wasn't around for the Stockport game, Searle's goal was a peach, and beating Col Ewe 6-1 was a dream, but the Swansea promotion party is right at the top in best football moments ever for me.
