Great Wakering tonight

Not a bad game tonight, had to walk from shoebury station through some fields but it was worth it. Nice tidy ground, 2 pound for a student, nuff said. Grimienk in goal, nice shirt. Great wakering scored after three minutes. Massive mistake by Bart, ran out of his area, lost the ball and the Wakering player shot into an empty net. Didnt have much to day after that. Then the eagle scored from a free kick, around 35 mins in. Very, Very impressed with Jay, Jozic, and the lad from chelsea, also in the second half Jozic had a shot, hit the post and it was out number 9 to slot the ball home. Not to sure who he was but he had a decent enough game. Not to impressed with our number 8 and 4, number 8 looks tiny. Dont know exactly who he was but id be scared if we played him. Lawson was good and i thought so was the lad wright.

Sounds like just the type of kid I hated at school - good at ALL sports.

An enjoyable evening's football, we played well in an entertaining game and perhaps we should take a few tips from their catering staff (Bacon rolls and chips....!)

I can definetly see Nic getting a contract and i can also see Wright getting a 6 month (possibly a year deal) as cover for Che. Not sure about Woodard, we have enough midfielders as it is and he'd never really get a game. Lawson looks a better prospect. Looks very good on the ball, quick, tall and seems a confident lad. We still need another striker though.

Lawson has really gone up in my estimations. Thought he was great yesterday and most of pre-season... Hope he gets in the squad this season!!

Indeed I have also been very impressed with Lawson, looks like he has bundles of talent, just think he needs to eat a few dozen burgers.
