Gower and Dudders

I was working on the door at Storm on Saturday night, and had the pleasure of guest listing and letting in for feck all Mark Gower and Laurie Dudfield, I know some players get abad bit of press occasionally but these two are a credit to the club,and believe me dudders is 110% SOuthend all though he doesnt get his chance very much he is deffinately one of us, and close up he is not as bald as he used to look, Last week I had Barrett, Wilson, Petterfer and Duddfield in the blue bar at Talk and they really are top lads, barrett as you can imagine is the gaffa without a doubt, but its not until you actually stand next to them that you really realise how young and small they really are.

ture about dudfield. im good friends with chris philips (echo writer) and after the game saturday he was the only player who phoned him up and thanked him. i know its chris's job but it just shows that his hearts in the right place and his a genuine guy. hope we offer him a new deal because thats the type of players we want in this team
