Good Omens

Morning all,

My first thread on the Zone despite being here for years, but I had a thought while out walking the dog...

Wearing my red Betterview shirt this morning for the first time in years, I took the dog out for a solid walk before heading to the station to catch the train to Wembley, and noticed someone had cut a hole in a fence, leading to a field we'd never walked in before.

I entered the field, to see a sea of red.

I couldn't help but think the newly bloomed poppies were a good omen.



Has anyone else seen any Omens or other slices of good fortune that suggest whatever gods are watching are on our side, apart from the classic "every ten years since the millennium" thing?

I went to Southend Cemetery a few days ago. Whose grave do I walk past? Oliver Trigg - Mr Blue Boar himself! Touched the sacred grave for good luck. This one’s for Trigger!

the only thing i will say is .Its in the lap of the gods .but with oldham fans saying its a for gone conclution that they will win .I really hope you end up with egg on your faces . Just rember Southend united dont know when they are beaten .
