Good News Bad News Part II

* ORM *

Still Loves Emma Bunton. Roy McDonough is God!
Good News - Beckham has a severe injury that has ended his career

Bad News - I'm dreaming again.

At last the long overdue Beckham Bubble Burst has finally happened.

Overpaid, overvalued and thankfully over there in Spain. Hopefully we've seen the last of him as England captain.

I suppose it would be too much to ask to get rid of Sven (thanks for the £4 million for doing f**k all) Goran Eriksson. He's made mugs out of just about everybody in English football but sadly most people are too blinkered to see it.

Oooooooooooooh. That feels better.

Are you the same person who said he doesn't get excited when England play (I may be wrong... and sorry if I am... but if I'm not..)?

For somebody who doesn't seem to be that into it, you really do go on a bit. Do you have a fresh point to make? You've moaned about all this already.

Hard to ignore them when they are stuffed in your face in the media virtually every day. Pleasingly though I think the media have given up on both the Beckhams. Sadly they're trying putting all the foundations in place to ruin Rooney in about 3-4 years time.

In answer to Overseas Shrimper yes I am the same person and you both make fair points. In which case I'll get my coat and keep off the subject for at least a couple of weeks. Though I'm still interested to find out whether people are happy that SGE is worth £4 million a year. That's around £3.5 million extra a year taken out of the game.

Allow me to get smug if something new happens in that time though.

Well that's 3.5 million less to the Premiersh*te which has to be a good thing. When has the FA actually ever down anything positive for lower league footy?

Also are Greece moaning that their boss isn't from their country? Or how about Portugal? Or even Brazil in the last World Cup?

Thought not.

Difference are, these managers are successfull and have passion.

Look at Big Phil after the England game, Good Ol Sven is clearly in it for the big pay cheque.

And there is the point I'm making. If England had made the final of Euro 2004 no one would give a f**k.

Oh and how do you know he has no passion? Just because he's not a ranter and raver doesn't mean he doesn't have passion. Tilson isn't a ranter from what we've seen on a match day but does that mean he's not fit to be Southend manager?

No but ask yourself why he needs to be paid £4-6m to manage England when 99% of the worlds international managers will take a 5th of that and be over the moon.

We arn't Successfull though that is the problem, i personally feel we have enough good English managers at the moment not to warrent a foreigner. Whilst im not totally against it obviously its best to get a English guy if possible.

Come on you don't have to be a rant and raver to have passion i agree however body language and facial expression tells alot and even the most relaxed managers will let on at some points.

Sven hasn't delivered the business and doesn't show enough to tell us that he will.
