Good crowd in again tomorrow

Got my ticket today and apparently we have sold around 7500 by about 4pm. Should be another 8000 plus crowd. If rotherham bring any more than 100 i will be amazed. We are now seventh in the attendance league although Barnsley at 6th average nearly 9000. I cant see us beating that. Who remembers the eight through the gate scheme that everybody laughed at a few years ago (myself included).

Its great to get this support and long may it continue.

Just a shame I can't be there. Too far from Bournemouth and if I left early my Year 11s would rip the place apart. At least there's Brentford away on Tuesday. However to the rest of you - enjoy and cheer us onto victory.

I will be there in my suit! train straight from liv st to prittlewell. a couple in the spread first i feel.

Teach at Kings High in Bournemouth but live near Cadnam in Southampton.

Well, I shall be on my way back from a day in Belgium tomorrow night, and will actually be in the English Channel when the final whistle is blown, but maybe some nice, kind soul will be able to text me the score......?

Is that a big enough hint, SB?

Shall be at Stansted Airport during the first half. Take off for Nuremberg as the whistle for the end of the first half sounds. Flying over Belgium and Germany as the second half unfolds.

Its been a couple or three years since I've flown. Can you now use mobile phones inside an aircraft? Can you connect to mobile networks at 36,000 feet. Would like to know so that I can keep track of the game using the internet.

Nope, still no use of mobiles on baord aircraft....

Although I accidentally left mine on in my hand luggage on the way to Australia and nothing untoward happened. Lucky no-one tried to ring me though!

Still winds me up that I can't use my laptop, portable DVD player or Ipod until the seatbelt light goes off. Bit pathetic really...

Back on topic - I'll be at Roots Hall tonight, if Tommytwoholes or Grimm Up North are lurking, I'll be in the Shrimpers just before 7pm.

Up the Shrimpers ! !

3-0 tonight.

Balls!

Just have to wait until I get to Nuremberg at 9.55 British time. Will not be able to cope.

Perhaps the Air Berlin pilot will give score updates en route.

Agree with that, but to be honest I think we should be. That said, the club has done wonders in recent years to get the punters in. Was watching a few of my old videos from the Webb era (i.e. our most successful to date) and the empty stands at some of the games were shameful.

Hopefully be a good atmosphere tonight - it was a bit quiet against Swindon. You can almost sense what it is going to be like as soon as you pass through the turnstiles.

i know. Take no one seriously on this board. Rule number one.

I reckon it could push 9000. Depends on the weather as well. May be a bit cold for some!
