I don't. By all accounts he's not playing well at Swansea, he's only scored 1 this season and consensus seems to be he's happy coasting along and collecting the $$$$ from his new contract. I'm not sure we need that sort of player right now.

Agree Maher has had a few more decent shots but not sure he could knock on 4 based on previous years (what is his SUFC game/goal stats?)

Also taking away Freddies goals that only leaves 6 from the other striker(s) - thats worse than Wayne Grays goalscoring record!

Only becasue he's with big money idiots i.e. Trundle, Knight, Fallon etc. The team spirit of this club would surely inspire him and the right coaching mentality from Tilly & Brushy......Anyway it dosnt matter, he's a swan for a long time now!

5 League goals in the previous 4 seasons (173 games)

Gutts has got everything you want from an attacking midfielder apart from goals (obviously the most important thing). He's got a great knack of timing his run into the box and should have scored 15 last year. But his finishing is truely woeful.

If he can work on that part of his game then we'd have a real asset in the middle of the park.
