Goal against leeds and blue voice

Tommy2holes

Life President⭐
Anybody got the goal to view and i was in the blue voice last night and it sounded quality. What was the noise like from the rest of the ground.

Blue Voice sounded good from the South Upper. The noise levels from Southend fans has definitely been better since TBV was formed, keep up the good work everyone.

Coverage of the goal on Anglia Soccer Night was disappointing. Only showed the goal. They showed chances & goals from the other lower-league games (e.g. MK Donuts, Northampton, Peterborough) but rushed through us.

Still at least they did the same to Col Ewe! :D

Fallon looked sharp for Plymouth at Ipswich last night, very unlucky not to score 2nd half.

From the East Blacks couldnt really here Blue voice in the first half. Not a criticism of BV, just that the Leeds fans were so loud.

Good noise from the BV, and I can also say that in my section it was excellent and absolutely mental when Lee scored. A great night.

The BBC's match report was rubbish as well. It mentioned nothing of the chances we created and missed, just that Leeds apparently missed a few goals :p

Did they show the shot which didnt even hit the north stand roof as it went straight over the top and into the car park beyond (prob the hospital car park that is)? :p

Thought the whole atmos was excellent last night. Really wanted to stay right til the end as usual but couldnt as it was a school night and my son is hopeless at getting up in the morning.

As Mr Benedict said earlier, the atmos has been very much improved by TBV and it was great to hear such a concerted effort to out noise the Leeds lot who were in a stand with much better accoustics.

Also heard the South Upper and West Family at a couple of points aswell. Not saying you dont make any noise at other times, its just so noisy where we sit now we cant usually hear much apart from the top noise coming from TBV.....and long may that continue...drowns out the noise of Huttons mobile for a start....:p

I thought the whole ground was good last night.

The South Upper was superb at times. Well done to the AAS boys, Mr Benedtict and co for joining in all all times.

From my seat in the South Upper I thought the noise generated by the Leeds fans on occasions was awesome.

Unfortunately I couldn't really hear the BV last night. This is not a crticism but probably as a result of there being more Leeds fans and better acoustics in the North Bank.

had a seat in South Upper last night and I thought the atmosphere in there was much better than East green / black where I usually go.

Leeds were noisy, but I think we gave them a run for their money! Helped to spur things on too I thought.

Will try for seats in there again, I think.

Might not be much help to you but they have been showing the goal on Sky Sports News all morning - just shown it again.

Gah....Missed it every time so far in spite of having SSN on all morning. Glad I've seen the Flamini goal about 80 times.

All I've caught of the Southend one is Barnard hammering it in above a headline saying something like 'Life After Wiise'

Very True the first Half the Weeds fans where very noisy maybe the loudest I have ever heard from the away fans in the north bank..

Sitting right next to the weeds in the East... the West Stand got louder and Louder and I was impressed in the second half... well done... cos the weeds fans all but stopped in the second half ...

I was in with TBV, standing at the very northern-most end of the west stand.

We were really loud last night, literally didn't take a breather. The Leeds fans were as good as you expect, too. Also, listening to the stewards (I was at the northern-most point, as I said, so was next to them as they "shielded" us from those evil Leeds fans) they were really worried about there being Leeds fans in with us lot again after last year.

Also, I had a quality view of the incident between around 8 Leeds fans and five or so stewards as they headed towards the café bit, which then led to about 25 stewards piling in and the police donning their riot gear :p. Pretty funny.

must admit that all I could hear for much of the first half was Leeds. In FE, we very rarely hear TBV, which must be to do with the accoustics as I can hear the drum! At one point last night the Leeds fans did a clever thing...rather than compete with the drum, they used it for their own chants! However, second half, we quietened the leeds fans down a bit, apart from a very loud rendition of marching all together which is the loudest I think I can remember.

Very proud to be a shrimper last night and today. All in attendance played their part in generating atmosphere for the players, who responded in great fashion. Lets show the "one away game a season" brigade what we can really do when we get together away on Saturday....much like Bournemouth but more of us!!!!
