Glory Hunters

Nick Prawnby

First XI
All this angst re Glory Hunters had me thinking.......

I was speaking to a lovely lady of 70+ last week about the Mighty Shrimpers.
She was well read on the up and downs and who's who's of the Blooz, asked about Fredy, Fossets Farm etc.
She wished me well on my trip to Cambridge.
She then said she'd never been to Roots Hall.
I said that the Hall was fifty years old and she really ought to see the Blooz play.
She then said that she'd seen them play loads of times... at the Greyhound Stadium!

Does this qualify her as a "real" fan, or a once-every-fifty-years Glory Hunter?

I know what I think.
