Glad we are not a big club

So they want to use the money we are going to pay for Clarke to buy a player who is better than Clarke...lets cut out the middleman here and use the money to buy this player ourselves ...

He does score goals but does he really want to come here ?

If Clarke really wanted to play for Southend he would be here already and he does seem to have an attitude problem.

He was good but not good enough to bring in if his heart isnt in it.

Well he wont play for Wednesday again as I think its safe to say he is not very popular with the owls fans! So he can either rot in the reserves or move elsewhere. If he agreed personal terms with us, presumably he wants to come here. Would probably play well with Fallon as he said when he first joined us he is no targetman and prefers the ball at his feet. But would certainly go for a loan, with a permanent deal at end of season if he shows a bit more effrt than the last few games he has played for us.

I would like him back but there is a huge risk of him falling into a comfort zone once he has signed permanently and its a big risk espescially for a club of our size...
