Gills Match report

Just read the match report by Statski and it's quality! Probably the most I have laughed reading a Southend match report and that's saying something with some of the players we've had.

Fair enough fbm's ones are good factually but their comedy value leaves a little to be desired.

It was a very good portrayal of a very good day! Glad I wasn't on the train back to Southend when Stats was nearly puking though...:laugh:

Good point Steve! As I said at the time, you getting on the train was fantastic - six cans of Kronenbourg and news of Andy Murray's semi-final victory.

Interestingly I was reading the Gillingham entry on the teletext fanzine page. We are, apparantly a "very mediocre team". Now I know we played crap on Saturday, but who are Gillingham (who have scored a stunning 13 points this season and scored an amazing 9 goals!) to comment on this considering their record and ours...? TBH I didn't really think much of them either....

I saw that as well - it was like reading sdwlofc's weekly Orient rantings on the same Teletext fanzine page. Strangely, he hasn't mentioned us yet this season.

What about renewals though? If people don't pay, are they 'in' regardless? I don't think you've thought this through Mr. Orm.
